Cogito, ergo sum

On 20190414, after the father of my Little Prince harshly told him that he would end up as a rubbish collector if he likes to draw but not to learn maths, Little Prince declared that he wants to be a pilot and an author, perhaps like the author of Le Petit Prince – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry . Thank you Miroslav Šašek for your positive influence on my Little Prince, even though you have passed away, your works have spoken to generations after you.

Then, while trimming the finger nails of Little Prince, I played a video of me reading I think I am by Louise Hay for him.

During dinner, I asked him if he likes the book. He replied, “Yes!”

What do you remember most from the book? He replied, “never give up!”

A prayer for Little Princess

On 20190330, while on the lift to the library for a storytelling session, Little Princess vomitted for the 2nd time this week.

After cleaning her puke at the nursing room, eating our lunch, bringing her to see a doctor, showering both Little Prince and Little Princess, I felt tired.

Perhaps, I didn’t sleep well. On 20190329, I dreamed that Little Princess fell into a toilet bowl and I had to shower her thoroughly. On 20190328, I dreamed that I was asked by Little Prince to fly a helicopter with a friend who behaves and looks similarly to a friend who taught me how to paint with light in Cambridge or a friend who indirectly taught me the composition in Vancouver.

At this moment, I am thankful that I could care for Little Princess 24/7 as she is not attending any school yet. I do my voluntary work while she is asleep.

Dear God, please help Little Princess to get well completely asap.

While reading about a quinoa entrepreneur who plans to only have her child(ren) when she turns 35, I could fathom that having children often means sacrificing our dreams, but nurturing children is one of things that I believe will outlast our lives.
